EQUIPPING BUSINESS EDUCATION GRADUATES WITH SKILLS FOR ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY IN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS IN EDO STATE

The study examined equipping business education graduates with skills for economics sustainability in tertiary institution. In recent time a lot of attention has been drawn to the system due to the continuous call for self-employment and increasing unemployment rates in Nigeria and government cannot provide employment for the number of graduates. Business education is a skill course which requires practical application of knowledge. These skills are needed by business education graduates to be effective in business and beyond. Skills discussed include communication skills, management skills, teaching/research skills, technical skills, and technological skills. However, some recommendations were made. These will help to equip graduates of business education in Edo State.
