THE ROLE OF DIGITAL EDUCATION IN FOSTERING NATIONAL INTEGRATION IN NIGERIA: IMPLICATION FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

The world is becoming a global village, as globalization begins to gain profitable momentum, boundaries, geographical locations are becoming increasingly insignificant as most communities faced with the herculean task of maintaining their identity as well as improving the welfare conditions of their members in changing world through digital tools. The paper looks at the role of digital education in fostering national development and community development. It was recommend that to ensure transparency and accountability, government at all level should ensure full utilization of digital tools in governance.it was also recommended that companies, corporate bodies and various institutions of higher learning should help to always organize seminars, conferences and workshops on the needs to digital education in fostering national integration It was further recommended that the various communities especially those in the rural areas should always sensitize their people on how to utilize digital tools in assisting the police and the vigilante groups in curbing armed robbery attack and nefarious activities herdsmen
